ADON – Skilled Nursing
Our post-acute healthcare client is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a 120-bed SNF in Kansas City, MO.
Summary:
The ADON is a key Nursing Department leader and is responsible for supporting the DON in providing high-quality care to residents. The ADON will work closely with the DON to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, and to ensure that the nursing staff is meeting all regulatory requirements. The ADON will also be responsible for supervising the nursing staff and providing them with the support they need to succeed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the DON in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee the nursing staff and ensure that they are meeting all regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and support to the nursing staff
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Collect and analyze data to monitor the quality of care
• Work with the DON to respond to resident complaints and concerns
• Represent the nursing department at meetings and events
Qualifications:
• Current Missouri or Multistate RN license
• Minimum AS degree in Nursing; BSN degree preferred
• Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in a SNF environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong attention to detail

Schedule:
• Full-time
• 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
Compensation Range: $90,000 – $100,000 base
